We are pleased to announce SRC Law Firm’s complete victory in a long and extremely complex dispute involving three court proceedings concerning the conclusion of a final sales agreement for the property on which our client’s shopping center is located. The value of the dispute exceeded PLN 300 million.
Contrary to its obligations, the opposing party reneged on the final property sales agreement, unjustifiably blaming our client for this situation. In order to prevent our client from pursuing its claim, the opposing party transferred the right to the property to a third party and also entered into a sham court settlement with another entity, on the basis of which it initiated enforcement proceedings against the property that was the subject of the unfulfilled final sales agreement.
The case was characterized by an exceptional degree of legal and factual complexity and required the conduct and successful resolution of a series of ancillary proceedings, while the opposing party sought to delay the case as much as possible at every stage. Due to the complexity of the case, other law firms gave our client little chance of a successful outcome.
